👋 Hi all, - We run an independent computer recycling company based in Torbay working with businesses and schools to safely repurpose/recycle redundant equipment.

We seem to be getting fair amount of requests to safely deal with personal IT equipment which isn’t always viable if we are just collecting from just one household.

So we wanted to trial something and as we are collecting from a business in Kingsbridge next week we thought we might try and combine it with multiple private collections on the same day.

So Firstly - Do you have any old computers/laptop/gadgets that you’d like safely recycled - Free collection and Free data destruction (all your personal data will be deleted beyond recovery) then please send us an email to [email protected]

Secondly - If you don’t but you might find the service interesting in the future would you pop over to our page and like it, we will be adding future collections if this works.

Thirdly - if you work somewhere with an IT department overflowing with redundant equipment please get in touch!

As we say this is a trail and will based on interest we will need around 5 collections to make it viable 🙂

Not every laptop is financially viable to save,
However, if it’s sent to the recycling centre the whole thing will be shredded for its material.

We harvest tech for parts, which we use to save other faulty tech. We then recycle what’s left. One faulty item could save many from landfill.

Business or Personal, got tech that needs properly disposing of get in touch.

We have been turning our scrap cable into funds to support Feed the children Torbay, and will continue to during the run upto Christmas.

If anyone across Torbay or surrounding areas have a big box of cables to get rid of (go poke your IT guys, bet they are still saving that box of power cables from xp machines that might come in handy) please drop me a message and we will put them to good use.
