In our continued effort to share stories from the amazing network of food producers in Oxfordshire, we’d like to tell you about Northmoor Meat Company.

Situated in Northmoor, West Oxfordshire, Northmoor Meat Company is run by James & Fiona Florey. Four generations of the family are involved, with a beautiful Herd of Ruby Red Devon's cattle, which have been grazing on 450 acres of riverside meadows for over 25 years.

When the pandemic arrived, James and Fiona were already providing home deliveries, and allowing for special requests based upon customers’ needs, but orders increased significantly. As they increased production to meet the demand, they focused on providing the same high-quality meat they are known for, in 100% recyclable boxes, to minimise environmental impact.

So, when you next need to order some beef, why not try supporting a local farm, doing your bit to support local businesses, be kind to the environment, and knowing where your food was produced?

In our ongoing project to share stories from the amazing network of food producers in Oxfordshire, we'd like to introduce you to Debbie Reiber from Purely Kombucha, a small Artisan brewery producing high-quality Kombucha, a delicious fermented tea.

This started as a hobby for Debbie Reiber, where she shared the tasty Kombucha with her friends and family, but she soon increased production and created her own business. Debbie now attends the weekly Saturday Market in Wantage and the weekly Sunday Farmers Market in Summertown, selling her products to local customers.

Purely Kombucha also offers a delivery service in Wantage and immediate local areas including villages. So, if you want to enjoy some fantastically refreshing and locally made healthful drink, here is their website and page
