Still relying on manual recalls in your practice?

There is a better way.

In the latest episode of The Halfway Point podcast, Ben is joined by Mark Widgery from MedLink Solutions to explore how automation is transforming patient monitoring in general practice.

We talk about:
β€’ The real pressure of managing long-term conditions
β€’ Why manual searches are slowing practices down
β€’ How β€œfire-and-forget” systems can give you time back
β€’ Smarter patient engagement through digital tools
β€’ Improved methods to monitor medications like methotrexate and levothyroxine
β€’ Supporting patients with multimorbidity using personalised questionnaires

Plus, we explore what is coming next, including reducing unnecessary patient visits by pulling blood tests forward.

If you are looking to save time, reduce admin burden, and improve how your practice manages recalls, this is well worth a listen.

Tune in now and start rethinking how your practice approaches patient monitoring.

We would love to hear your thoughts on this as well. Let us know how you are currently managing recalls in your practice.

COMING SOON - MEDLINK MONITORING

It is a long while since we have posted anything, but we’ve been very busy behind the scenes at MedLink.

The team has been working intensively to finalise MedLink Monitoring, and we are very excited to share that release is now just a few weeks away.

This next phase builds on our core platform and is designed to support practices with a more complete, end-to-end approach to patient monitoring β€” particularly for high-risk drugs and long-term conditions.

MedLink Monitoring will:
β€’ Automatically identify patients requiring monitoring using coded data
β€’ Send patient invites with self-booking options
β€’ Track completion of required checks
β€’ Schedule ongoing monitoring and follow-up
β€’ Support safer, more consistent processes
β€’ Reduce administrative burden

The aim is simple - to help practices deliver safer care, reduce manual workload, and ensure no patient falls through the gaps.

We’re really looking forward to sharing more detail soon, including training and onboarding plans ahead of go-live.

MedLink Monitoring is available at only 12p per patient per year which includes comprehensive patient communication methods.
For practices using MedLink Recall, both products together are 22p per patient.

For more information, or for a free trial (EMIS practices only), please head over to our website - medlink.co.uk.
