🚀 Strengthening Digital Resilience for a Community That Never Stops Caring

In the heart of the Bromley borough, Living Well Bromley has always stood out for one reason: their unwavering commitment to supporting local residents to lead healthier, more independent lives. Their team works across multiple sites, relying heavily on digital tools to deliver vital health and social care services every single day.

But behind the scenes, a challenge was growing.

🔍 The Turning Point

Living Well Bromley realised their IT environment wasn’t fully equipped to support the scale and sensitivity of their work. Devices across the organisation were operating without centralised updates or consistent security policies. Even more concerning, their Microsoft 365 environment wasn’t being backed up, meaning that if an email, file, or entire SharePoint library was accidentally deleted or corrupted, it could be gone for good.

For an organisation that handles confidential information and supports vulnerable people, this posed a real risk to operational continuity and data protection.

They needed a solution that didn’t just patch holes but built long-term digital resilience.

🛠️ The Transformation

That’s where Qlic IT stepped in.

Our first priority was to enable proper device security and unified management. We rolled out Microsoft Intune across 15 devices, bringing all security policies, updates, and compliance settings under one roof. Suddenly, every device was visible, manageable, and protected.

Next, we deployed Datto Backupify, a game-changer for Microsoft 365 resilience. Automated backups for emails, SharePoint, and OneDrive meant that even in the worst-case scenario, Living Well Bromley’s data would never be lost.

Once Intune was fully live, we strengthened endpoint protection further by installing antivirus software across all devices and enabling device encryption to protect sensitive data in cases of theft or loss.

Some devices were also upgraded to Windows Pro, ensuring compatibility with the new security setup and preparing the team for a more robust digital future.

What emerged wasn’t just an IT upgrade, it was a complete security and continuity uplift.

Today, Living Well Bromley operates with confidence:

✔️ A centrally managed, secure device ecosystem
✔️ Complete backup coverage for Microsoft 365
✔️ Encrypted, protected endpoints across the organisation
✔️ Stronger disaster recovery readiness
✔️ Improved performance thanks to Windows Pro upgrades

Their staff can focus on what truly matters: supporting residents, knowing their digital tools are dependable, secure, and future-ready.
