Here are some top App and IT recommendations for business (we'll aim for 50 over time and refresh them). We haven't listed cyber-security software and services, but if you read, for example, TechRadar, their newsfeed is full of stories of hacking and ransomware and attacks on IT, and these stories are often in national press too. Being safe online is vital. You can talk to us - the authors of this page - at Telecoms World about it https://www.telecomsworld.com/it-services, or choose any number of solutions, but be very aware of this area and please do make your online presence as secure as possible. Onto the Apps and IT you might consider for business:
1. Wildix - the mobile App of the best unified communications platform in the business - Derek Read of Telecoms World insisted it go top (I'll push it below Spotify again soon, he loves that too, but he won't notice, he's not on Facebook!). You can hear Derek talk about it here: https://www.telecomsworld.com/blog/derek-read-talks-wildix
2. Spotify - music to work to, learning, podcasts and more - https://www.spotify.com/uk/;
2. Audible - see above, though substitute audio books for music;
3. We Transfer - easy transfer of files up to 2GB for free? What's not to like?
4. StreetPin - made in Bromley where I am based - so we like it! Tim Buick's creation;
5. Xero - it's a good online accounts facility, according to a friend of mine who used it - though I hear among book keepers mixed reviews
6. Hubdoc - "Hubdoc extracts key information from your receipts,
invoices, and bills. No more data entry, no more filing - courtesy of one of my friends - www.hubdoc.com. A handy partner for Xero, perhaps?
7. The Anker smart speaker. A very good, very inexpensive smart speaker that lets you listen to your favourite music, audiobooks or podcasts beautifully. As recommended by Sophie Clarke - owner of this page and also owner of an Anker! https://www.amazon.co.uk/Soundcore-Bluetooth-Technology-Waterproof-Customizable/dp/B08FCDFHLB/ref=pd_lpo_1?pd_rd_i=B08FCDFHLB&psc=1. If you do use Amazon, why not use the Smile version and donate to a charity of your choice with every purchase?
8. Portable power. We are in an energy supply/price crisis. You can avoid your own personal crisis from a draining iPhone or other device by carrying a (charged up) portable recharger. There is no need for a single product suggestion here - what you need depends on what you have to charge. But this may be a place to start: https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?k=portable+recharger&s=review-rank&qid=1634140772&ref=sr_st_review-rank
9. Canva - 'The online design tool - very popular - https://www.canva.com/en_gb/

Spotify is a digital music service that gives you access to millions of songs.
