Doodle for the day is for England. I used to avoid drawing people but I’m quite into it now and I like the dynamic poses of sport. Makes me think how to draw people a little differently and how I can exaggerate shapes as I develop the style. It’s cropped a little though because I keep forgetting to check the new IG sizes that seem to be tweaked all the while!

Have you been watching any of the World Cup? Will you watch England tonight? FIFA sucks, USA hosting sucks but I it would be nice for the country to have an actual positive achievement instead of the usual news and hatred. Plus Three Lions is a banger 🦁🦁🦁

In shop news I have had a restock of a few things that went like the notepads and some keyrings that I haven’t had in a long while. Some have been packed up for wholesale orders and some will be left for markets and putting online. I think some are online but I hate the admin of the listings so please allow me to move slowly 🐌

Running your own business is hard with all the admin and making I guess sometimes I forget to actually tell people about it! Especially when social media feels a bit meh at the minute compared to the good old days where everything felt less pressured and free. If you feel called out by this comic all thoughts and appearances are purely coincidental. I’m certain I’m not the only one who knows what they need to do but isn’t doing it 😅

I also found out my website wasn’t displaying ANY images (which as an illustrator and designer isn’t ideal lol) and I don’t know how long it’s been like that so full professional behaviour here and reminder to check/update your website! I have a little holding page up now as it’s getting a refresh some point this year. I will not be committing to any dates but the shop is all fine and open.

Work-wise I’m working on some larger projects currently which I can’t really share for a while so please enjoy some random doodles of an unprofessional girl trying to be a business girl 🙃

The horrors persist but so does the fight. I feel like an unwilling participant of silly men with power, dumb people and world events 🥲 The need to stay informed whilst also needing peace is a delicate balance.

At least my personal struggles are balancing out. I have been formally diagnosed with IBS after having a month of ✨digestive issues✨ so I guess that’s a win. But I also can’t eat lots of things for another few weeks including onion and garlic 😩

Late to the party for but I’m here. I haven’t take part in a year or two so thought it was time to get back at it and started last night. I’ve only finished this one so I’m not as prepared as most people as standard ☺️

The theme is growing forests so I looked at the nice things in UK forest/woodlands. Currently we’re enjoying bluebells covering the ground, mix of trees and animals in the area. Forgot to include my new hedgehog pals though 😥 Next up is flowing rivers 🦦

Got my new notepads ready for markets! I’ll put them online this week if you want one. I’ve got three DL size notepads, one Pokopia themed IYKYK your task list is huge and overwhelming 🥲, one Jurassic Park themed because obviously, last one is just the never ending tasks of life until death 💀
