A gorgeous Sony PVM-20L5 came in with a split neck board, cracked case and perished board holder. After recapping the board, epoxy and solid core to the rescue on the split and a replacement holder and it was back up and running once again.

Restoring this was a total joy. Started with both boards having a well earned ultrasonic bath and then removing what was left of an attempted recap with poor quality components that had blown. Repaired all the damaged traces then treated it to a full cap kit and calibration.
