Cybersecurity Awareness Month: Are you ready for passkeys? 🔒

🎃 October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month, a good opportunity to check that your business is keeping up with changes to online security.

Microsoft has started moving users away from SMS & voice MFA towards more secure, phishing-resistant sign-in methods such as passkeys, using things like Face ID, fingerprints or a device PIN to sign in securely.

A few weeks ago, LVL1 attended the RJ Heritage Invitational at Sprowston Manor, where we were proud to sponsor the Beat the Pro hole. ⛳️

As a relatively new business, seeing the LVL1 logo out on the course alongside some well-established brands was a pretty special moment for us!

Most importantly though, it was all for a fantastic cause, with over £20k raised for charity. 💚

A big thank you to Equinoxed for the invitation, & to Callum for putting on such a brilliant event. We’re proud to have played a small part in it & are already looking forward to next year!🏌️‍♂️

Our biggest CCTV project to date! 📸

The LVL1 team recently completed a major CCTV upgrade across a large site with multiple buildings, expanding the system from 13 existing cameras to 50 - we're really proud of this one 💪🏼

The upgrade has significantly increased coverage across the site, improving security, visibility & giving the customer greater peace of mind.

Microsoft Publisher is being retired October 2026, but not in a “your files vanish overnight” way.

More in a “that old .pub file you still rely on might become a lot more annoying to open, edit or move across” kind of way. ❌

If your business still uses Publisher for flyers, brochures, labels, newsletters or old templates, now is the time to check what needs keeping, exporting or moving into a new tool.
