AI tools are now part of everyday school life, but the Department for Education is clear: they should support learning, not replace a child's own thinking and they come with real risks around accuracy, privacy and age limits.

Our latest guide covers what parents need to know:

✅ Check the age requirements most AI tools set a minimum age of 13+, some as high as 18
✅ AI can get things wrong always fact-check anything important
✅ Never share personal information names, addresses, schools or photos
✅ It should support learning, not replace it copying an AI answer isn't a child's own work
✅ Stick to your school's built-in AI tool (Copilot or Gemini) rather than mixing apps
✅ Keep the conversation open at home

As the school year comes to a close, we’d like to say a massive thank you to all the schools who trusted us in our first year of business. 👏

It’s been a busy one, and we’ve loved every second.

It’s the government-backed standard that checks systems are properly protected against the most common cyber attacks, and ours covers the whole organisation, not just part of it.
