So proud to continue our connection with The Tour Of Britain and Century TV creating the route maps for the TV coverage.

Here we present stages 1,2 & 3. You can watch the race live on ITV4 with highlights (and it's a bloomin good highlights show) and also live on Discovery+, GCN+ and Eurosport.

This year we have gone full 3D creating them in Cinema 4D and then adding 2D elements in After Effects. 3D allows us to create some really lovely bespoke elements such as the 3D model of the actual start and finish gantry, allowing us to place the Tour of Britain sponsors logo's and branding on there. The route map for TV can sometimes be overlooked in the role it can play in the TV coverage and as Marty well knows having been a TV commentator for over 20 years, you can really use them to show the viewer whats ahead! We were really sad like many people to see the iconic Tour Series and Women's Tour in the UK take a break this year. Keeping everything crossed that they return next year.

We were really lucky to create the course graphics for the past few years. The Tour Series in particular we were allowed by Century TV and Sweetspot, the creativity to do something new. Try something new we did! with some 3D low poly, toon town graphics created in Cinema 4D.

Some of the map graphics in broadcasting can be very plain and almost an afterthought. As a commentator of over 20 years, Marty thinks people underestimate how useful showing and breaking down the circuit and its elements can be in bringing the broadcast alive for the viewer.

So we thought we would celebrate some of my favourite circuits that I've created. The Clacton on Sea is definitely one we love. Creating the pier, complete with helter skelter, the Clacton ferris wheel was super fun. We love working in 3D, taking a grey cube and creating something like this just makes us smile!
