With this wonderful quote of Vicent Van Gogh we have to announce a huge change for Crazy Maverick. We born with the idea of collaborative art and support between artist. We wanted to start small and grow from there.
We were legally based in the UK however life happens (also our friend Brexit) and we are leaving the UK. One going to Germany, another to Spain..
However, this account will continue as illustrations account of and we hope to still show collaborations with other artists like (if he finished his comic one day). After all, the new reality after Covid doesn't care too much where are you based.

We want to finish with this brilliant illustration by Elece Wheel! She made this piece for the International Women in Engineering Day 2019. The theme of that year was 'Shaping the World', and it was aimed to inspire children pursue a career in engineering.
 
On Tuesday she also wrote a short article on LinkedIn, 'Empowering Girls' about the events she had attended during and how to inspire young girls to enrole in STEM careers. You can find the link in our Twitter page (link in bio) and in the bect few days on our LinkedIn account!

Always, always look at the stars💫

Is there anything that you do when you are gutted or having artist's block that makes you feel better? A walk, a book, sketching, watching a movie? Having a go-to activity can be a good way to disconnect from what is making you anxious.

As cliché as it may sound... It's okay to fall as long as we remember to pick us up again.

♀️ Happy Woman's Day from everyone at Crazy Maverick!
We want to celebrate this day by sharing with you some of our artists' work on women. You know most of them and, so you know that they represent more than just mere characters or public figures... 
 
💜 We could ramble for hours about what this day means for us as women, but we are going to try and cut it short (you are very welcome). This is a day to remember those who didn't have a voice. Those who, still, today don't have one; it's a day to reclaim their voices. It's a day for sisterhood; to empower and celebrate the woman who passed through the glass ceiling and the housewife and mother of two who didn't. It's a day to recharge and recover your courage. It's a day to remember that you are capable of whatever you set your mind to. It's a day to remember that, as Virginia Woolf said, for most of history, Anonymous was a woman.

Being interested about things outside of art will enhance our creativity. It’s like oxygen for our brain. Sports, nature, food, whatever our brain switch to. It will enrich our art.
