We made it to the third step of the logo design process!
-
Once you’re happy with your logo designs and ready to send it to the client add context, don’t expect your work to speak for itself. I always make a presentation explaining the reason of each decision I made along the way.
-
I provide up to 3 options, but I never push designs just for the seek of presenting X amount of designs, never present something that you don’t feel is right because the client might pick that one. If you have 2 good ones, that’s ok. You’re getting paid to provide a solution, not options.
-
Also, is key to ask for feedback. What do you need from the client? ask questions in order to improve the logo and help them achieve their goal. This is not a cool design for your portfolio, is a solution for the client’s business. Ask what you need to know in order to provide the best solution you can.

Thanks to everyone who stayed with me along the series, let me know what you think in the comments! Also, would you like to see my web design process?
