The Paper & Foil Studio started in 2025 when I realised a screenshot inside a birthday card didn’t give my husband’s 50th birthday gifts the moment they deserved. He had concert tickets, a festival, a comedy night, a London trip and a track day, amazing gifts, but the presentation felt flat. Something he could open. Something he could keep. Friends and family began asking where I’d bought them… I

hadn’t, I’d made them. And that’s how The Paper & Foil Studio was born. I now create foiled keepsake tickets, money wallets, scratch cards, personalised stationery and custom prints, all handmade, fully customisable and posted ready to gift. 🍂 Hello September!

Well, August, you were a good one!

We had celebrations, days out and lots of lovely memories made, but over in The Paper & Foil Studio, August also became my busiest month by far after what was already a busy July!

I’m honestly so grateful for every order, enquiry, share, comment and bit of support. It really does all add up, and I appreciate every single one of you. 🤎

As you know, I’m now out of the studio until 14th September, but I’m still contactable if you’d like to chat about an order for my next dispatch on 26th September.

I’ve also had a few people already getting organised and booking in for Christmas, which I absolutely love because, let’s face it, Christmas will be here before we know it! 🎄😂 If you’ve got something in mind and want to guarantee one of my Christmas spaces, feel free to drop me a message while I’m away.

But for now… hello September! 🍂

I’m ready for those cosy autumn evenings, the smell of wax melts, pumpkin spice lattes 🎃☕ and all the little things that come with this time of year.

☀️ We’re off!

Today we’re swapping the studio for a little bit of Greek sunshine 🇬🇷🍹

The printers are having a rest, the studio is temporarily closed and I fully intend to spend some quality time doing absolutely nothing… or at least attempting to 😅

I won’t be completely off grid though. I’ll still be popping in here now and then, keeping things ticking over and sharing a few bits from our trip along the way. Apparently Facebook still needs feeding even when I’m on holiday 😂

If you’ve got an order you’d like to discuss, you can still drop me a message on WhatsApp and I’ll check in when I can. Replies might just be a little slower than usual while I’m operating on Greek time ☀️🇬🇷

I will be back in the studio on Monday 14th September and the next dispatch date will be 26th September, so there are only limited September slots available.

🍫 Small Business Sunday! 🥨

I’ve been following MY Choco Creations and the lovely Lorna for a little while now, so when I finally got my hands on some of her creations, I was very happy to put them to the taste test!

Now, being dairy free, chocolate can be a bit hit and miss. So when I tried these pretzels, I actually had to message Lorna afterwards to double check they really were dairy free because they were that good! 😂

One minute I had a bag of pretzels… the next minute, the bag was empty. No idea what happened. 🤷‍♀️🤣

Honestly, her creations are handmade and absolutely incredible. I’m just grateful we don’t live closer because I fear my bank balance would be in serious trouble! 😂

☕ Saturday priorities…

It’s Saturday, and for me today is all about getting the house back in order it’s been a bit neglected recently, and this includes giving the studio a good clean.

After the last few weeks of creating, the office is currently covered in tiny pieces of foil, so it definitely needs a little reset before I close the door and leave it alone for a few weeks! 😂

So before I put my feet up, it’s time for a little studio reset.

But enough about my Saturday…

🥂 Bank holiday weekend!

It’s the bank holiday weekend and we’ve got lots of plans starting with a big family birthday party this evening. 🎉

There was one last print this morning to go through the printers before they get a well earned rest for a few weeks!

And I think this one might just be my favourite design to date. 🤎

It’s for a very special person who has helped me so much this year, so there was some extra special attention to detail included here.

I can’t share it just yet, but I’m sure it won’t be long before you see it.

It’s been a busy few weeks in the studio, so I’m really looking forward to some much needed downtime when we head away.

Oh Howler’s Melts, you’ve made my day! 🥹

I spotted this post from Howler’s Melts after their order arrived today and had the biggest smile.

This was a custom order of 50 bespoke business cards, along with some personalised vellum and paper packaging and their gorgeous logo stickers.

I love adding those little details so your packaging feels completely you and, seeing their reaction when it arrived, I think we nailed it! 🥰

🐾 Happy National Dog Day 🐾

Today is a very important day in the studio because my two co workers deserve a little appreciation… 😂🤎

Meet Mollie & Charlie.

My studio co workers.
My shadows.
My little supervisors.
And, without question, my besties. 🐾

They don’t care if I’ve had a productive day, whether I’ve smashed my to-do list or whether I’ve spent three hours staring at the same design wondering what I’m doing. 😂

They just love me.

Unconditionally.

They make me laugh, keep me company while I work and have a remarkable talent for appearing the second they hear a packet opening. 👀😂

But today isn’t just about my two.

It’s about all the dogs who make their humans’ lives better simply by being in them.

The ones who greet you like you’ve been gone for ten years when you’ve only been upstairs.

The ones who know when you need a cuddle.

The ones who make you laugh when you really don’t feel like laughing.

The crazy ones.
The cuddly ones.
The old ones.
The rescue ones.
The ones who are no longer with us but will always have a little piece of our hearts. 🤎

So today, give your four-legged bestie an extra cuddle, an extra treat and probably let them get away with something they shouldn’t. 😂🐾

Holiday prep has officially begun… 😂🌴

The orders are getting finished, the studio is still in full swing and I’m counting down to a little bit of downtime…

But last night I took a very important step towards holiday mode:

Holiday toes and nails = DONE! 💅😂

One thing off the list!

Now back to the final orders before I can properly switch off and enjoy some much needed time away.
