Can art change your brain? The simple answer: yes.

Studies show that art can calm the nervous system, spark emotion, and even build new neural connections.

My solo show explores this transformative power through the lens of optimism.

What if you could reclaim your focus in a world full of distractions’? asks artist and designer
June Mineyama-Smithson aka

A collection of her abstract paintings exploring the power of intention were launched in May at Cult Vision for Clerkenwell Design Week, for our latest collaboration: ‘Art of Reclaiming Focus’ showing at until Autumn 2025.

June continues: ‘Nowadays, everything is
fighting for our attention—social media, calendar invites, family duties— and the ability to focus on a single thing feel like a luxury.’

In collaboration with Cult Vision, artist June Mineyama-Smithson invites you to pause, be present, and reclaim a moment for yourself through an interplay of colour and form. The original four acrylic paintings are available for purchase, and a limited-edition collection of lens cloths will be complimentary with all eyewear purchases from Cult Vision.
