Many changemakers feel conflicted about branding. And they’re right to question it. Traditional branding is often associated with manipulation and persuasion: greenwashing and superficial storytelling, extractive capitalism and endless growth narratives, and manufactured perception rather than real impact. For people working to create positive change, these approaches feel deeply misaligned with their values. But avoiding branding entirely creates another problem: important work becomes harder to understand, support, and sustain.

Our masterclass, for , explores a different perspective. Branding can be reclaimed - not as a tool of persuasion, but as a practice of alignment. This is the philosophy behind the ANTIDOTE Branding Framework. When grounded in ethics, impact, inclusion, sustainability, and accessibility, branding becomes a tool for clarity, transparency, and collective change. It helps changemakers communicate their work honestly so the right people can understand, support, and participate in the impact they are building.

I’m developing a framework for ANTIDOTE to help changemakers better understand the systems their organisations and brands sit within, so branding and strategic design processes can start from a place of clarity. I’ll be sharing an early version in our upcoming masterclass on the 13th of May, and would love to hear what you think. RSVP on Luma!

Before branding or rebranding, take the time to understand the system around your organisation. How you position your work as a changemaker, who you centre, what you choose to say, and what you leave out all reflect deeper decisions about power, relationships, and responsibility. These choices shape how your work is understood, who engages with it, and what becomes possible over time.

A strong brand strategy doesn’t sit on the surface. It brings these underlying decisions into view and aligns how your work is expressed with how it actually operates. Without that, branding tends to drift and become either too generic, too performative, or disconnected from the work itself.

At ANTIDOTE, this is where we begin. We step back, analyse the system surrounding the organisation, and then define branding from that foundation. We’ll introduce this approach in our upcoming free masterclass. Join us!

As a consultant and founder of ANTIDOTE, I support changemakers - founders, activists, social entrepreneurs and purpose-led organisations - who want to grow their impact without compromising their values.

After years of working across startups, social impact, and international ecosystems, I kept seeing the same tension arise again and again: people doing meaningful work were often expected to choose between integrity and growth. That never sat right with me.

That’s one of the reasons I’m currently building , a collective of impact consultants and a purpose-led strategy studio. We exist to equip changemakers with ethical strategy, accessible tools and collaborative learning spaces, so they can build sustainable ventures without losing sight of what matters most.

Our work currently spans 9 focus areas, including branding, marketing, fundraising, business development, investment readiness, impact strategy, responsible design, tech and AI. Through playbooks, training, events, and tailored advisory services, we support people who want to grow with more clarity, care, and intention.

My approach is grounded in ethics, accessibility and long-term thinking. No growth at any cost, just thoughtful support rooted in positive change for people building things that matter.

is my personal project exploring identity, belonging, and the reality of building a life between countries. It grew out of my own experience of moving to the UK in my twenties, adapting, and starting over. It’s for anyone who has ever felt in-between cultures, languages, or versions of themselves.

Every year, millions of people leave the place they once called home. Some leave by choice. Some do not. Some leave once. Some leave repeatedly. And yet we rarely ask what it really means to leave.

Not From Here is an ongoing curated project that gathers anonymous stories of departure, migration, exile, relocation, reinvention, and sometimes return.
If you have ever left a country, a city, or a culture, you’re invited to share your experience. Your story can be short or long. There is no right way to tell it.

My hope is that, over time, NFH becomes a growing digital archive of lived experience, a collective record of what it means to leave and rebuild. I’d also love for it to expand into cultural programmes, public readings, events, publications, artistic collaborations, and research. #

Long-term, I want this project to give back, too. A portion of any future revenue from publications or partnerships would support organisations working with immigrant communities. ❤️

Today, it was finally good to wake up as a Hungarian. ❤️ Finally, we can breathe a little easier. The streets were loud last night. People were crying with relief and joy. Getting rid of the representatives of systemic corruption and oppression is an absolutely cathartic feeling. I can only recommend it.

But as the panellists say in this article, the hardest question is not whether Orbán can be defeated, but whether the political, legal and moral ruins he left behind can actually be repaired, and the EU must urgently find ways to deal with future Orbáns.

I am very happy, yet cautious - I hope the new government will use its power responsibly, and their message of unity is not just a campaign slogan. Let's get to work, we have a country to rebuild!

Mit jelent az, hogy , és miért így neveztem el a MOME Openen áprilisban induló workshop-sorozatom?

A “purpose” szót egyre többet használjuk magyarul is, de sokszor teljesen mást értünk alatta. Itthon én leginkább a nagyvállalati marketing világában látom felbukkanni. Gyakran művészeti vagy jótékonysági kezdeményezések támogatásán keresztül jelenik meg, és azt üzeni: ez nemcsak egy PR-kampány; mi tényleg fontosnak tartjuk az innovációt és a szemléletformálást. Ez egy jó irány, de szerintem nem elég.

Nemzetközi szinten a “purpose” inkább azt jelenti, hogy egy szervezet – legyen az nonprofit vagy for-profit – hogyan építi fel a működését az értékei mentén. Nem kommunikációként jelenik meg, hanem döntési rendszerként, olyan alapelvek mentén, mint a fenntarthatóság, inkluzivitás vagy hozzáférhetőség.

A Purpose by Design workshop is erről szól. Nem egy marketing workshop, hanem egy gondolkodásmód-váltásra inspiráló program. Egy biztonságos térben, hazai és nemzetközi példákon, valamint a stratégiai design eszközein keresztül gondoljuk újra azokat az alapelveket, amelyekre a legtöbb szervezet működése épül.

Miről fogsz tanulni? Arról, hogy vezetőként vagy döntéshozóként hogyan tudsz átlépni:

→ a profitközpontú működésből érték- és hatásközpontú gondolkodásba
→ a versenyből együttműködésbe
→ a CSR mint PR eszközből valódi felelősségvállalásba
→ a felszínes márkaépítésből hosszú távú, fenntartható márkába

A workshopok középpontjában az értékvezérelt szemlélet fejlesztése áll sok beszélgetéssel, közös gondolkodással és különböző perspektívák bevonásával. Ne egy frontális képzésre számíts, hanem egy rugalmas, interaktív folyamatra, ami a csoport tudásához és összetételéhez is alkalmazkodik.
