Starting a business can feel like staring up at an impossibly steep mountain when you're barefoot with your hands tied behind your back. You've got brilliant ideas swirling around, but that gap between "what if" and "let's do this" feels like a chasm.
If technology makes you break out in a cold sweat, or if you're juggling additional commitments, or working with limited funding, or simply don't know where to start – I see you. I was you.
A few years ago, most of the technology I use daily was completely foreign to me. Vocalising your idea? Terrifying. Integrated platforms? Might as well have been rocket science. Social media strategy? I was winging it and hoping for the best.
But here's what I discovered when I finally took that leap of faith and jumped into the deep end: with a bit of courage and some extra effort, you really can teach yourself almost anything. And what you can't figure out? You ask for help. There's no shame in that – it's actually quite brilliant. Trust your intuition and what feels good to you. You don't need to be everyone's cup of tea and your customers will respond best to authenticity anyway.
That's exactly why I started this. I wanted to create the support system I desperately needed when I was standing at the edge of that cliff, wondering if I was brave enough to jump. I wanted to build something for people who have incredible ideas but feel baffled by the technical side, or isolated in their entrepreneurial journey.
Our role isn't to do everything for you – it's to teach you to fish, for yourself. To share the knowledge I've gained through all the tumbles and triumphs, the face-palm moments and the celebrations. To help you feel confident enough to take that first step, knowing you've got someone in your corner who understands exactly where you are.
Because here's the truth: your idea deserves to see the light of day. Your dream deserves to be shared. And you deserve to feel supported, not alone.
What's stopping you from taking that first step? I'd genuinely love to know.
Drop me a message – whether it's technology that's confusing you, business foundations that feel overwhelming, or just that general "where on earth do I start?" feeling.
And watch this space... we're also launching our Follow the Pebbles community soon, where you can ask all your business questions and support each other through this journey. Because you should never have to figure it all out alone.
Your idea is worth pursuing. Let's make it happen. Reach out. Link in bio.
