After around 10 years with Diamond Publishing / Record Collector, I’ve officially handed in my notice and will be leaving my full-time role at the end of June.

It feels strange even writing this.

I started there when I was much younger, and over the years this place has been a huge part of my life, my growth, and my journey as a designer, creative, and person.

I’m incredibly grateful for all the opportunities, trust, support, lessons, chaos, laughs, deadlines, and people I’ve met along the way across Record Collector, SmartSave, and the wider Diamond / Metropolis team.

This isn’t really a dramatic goodbye. I’m hopeful there may still be ways to support the team in a freelance capacity, so it feels more like the end of one chapter and the beginning of a new shape.

The next phase is about moving into a more flexible freelance life and focusing more fully on my own creative work, brand, and studio direction through Brunirax.

I’m excited, emotional, a little scared, and very ready.

A huge thank you to everyone who has been part of this chapter.
Let’s see where the next one leads. ❤

I built a fake deleted anime opening for a blind exorcist who traps lost spirits inside her own memories. 🖤

Her name is Reika.

She can’t see the dead.
She hears them. 🥀
This was created like a cursed AMV from another timeline, using my song “You Look At Me Like I Wasn’t Quite There” out the 5th of June 👀 and building the visuals through az8 Canvas, from character reference to animated sequence. 📼
The idea was simple:
one original character,
one haunted visual world,
multiple anime shots,
a whole lost opening that never existed.

Old games really just dropped you somewhere random with a sword, a useless map, 3 pixels of health and said: good luck bro.

No YouTube guides, no TikTok tips, no perfect builds. Just confusion, amazing music, dramatic cutscenes, and you walking in circles for 2 hours pretending it was part of the adventure.

And somehow… that was the best part.
