One of the cover options for a children's book about anger, big feelings, and learning how to express emotions. ❤️

Sometimes little ones feel frustrated, upset, or overwhelmed, but don't yet have the vocabulary to explain what's going on inside. This story helps children understand their feelings and reminds them that it's okay to ask for help when emotions feel too big.

This illustration started as a quick sketch while I was playing around with different perspectives, and somehow it ended up becoming one of my favourites! ✨

The biggest challenge was choosing the colour palette. I wanted it to feel vibrant without being overwhelming, but also not too simple. After many colour changes (and a lot of second-guessing!), I finally found the right balance, and I'm so happy with how it turned out. 🎨💛

A little calm, a lot of chaos, and all the joy in between 🛀💦😌

I created this illustration thinking about my childhood bath times in the evening, when you would end up so tired from all the playing that you’d fall asleep curled up in your bathrobe, ready to go to bed.
