When I was 9 a group of men beeped and shouted at me and my uncle as we got out of the car. I was so confused because at that time I hadn’t experienced such blatant anti Asian racism. Sure there were the micro aggressions that went over my head then but nothing I took much notice of until this day. I turned and asked him why they’d shouted and so casually my uncle said ‘because we’re Chinese’ and my little world shattered.

It’s taken me a really long time to wrap my head around this memory and know exactly how I wanted to share it with you all. It’s a sadly an experience so many of us will share and if that’s you, know I see you ⭐️

I can’t quite believe it’s the last few weeks of the year.

This year has been one of the hardest for me. I took a lot of time off at the beginning of the year when I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and I just wasn’t well enough to work and I had no idea why or what was happening. It’s been super up and down since and there have been a lot of unexpected changes. To be quite honest I’m happy to say goodbye to 2025, you were not my year.

But there have also been lots of lovely moments, people and places that made the year memorable. My favourite things this year have been the quieter moments that sometimes go unnoticed or I’ve taken for granted in the past. I’ve clung onto them recently through the bad and the good.

I’m looking forward to better things ahead ❤️✨

I am so excited to share this collab with - 15% of the profit will be going to . I can’t tell you how important this cause is to me! It really is such a scary time but especially for those who are having to isolate with their abusers. We need to make sure that these charities have access to the funds they need so that they can continue the work that they do. I’m hoping that this will be the first of many things I can do in aid of them. This is also my first ever t-shirt campaign so thank you so much if you’ve already ordered one can’t tell you how much I appreciate it! ❤️

With all the covid-19 news, the racism that’s come with it and the selfishness of stocking up on supplies. Let’s find happiness in the small things that we can do like asking our neighbors if they need help, calling a friend in isolation, drawing smiley faces on the fruit and veg 😊

Rosi’s work comes in two parts: her ceramics are humorous and sweet, whereas her illustrations take on topics like mental health, women’s health, body image and self-awareness.
