RT Dromo evolved from a custom fo t for the publication "Die Not hat ein Ende: The Swiss Art of Rock". The book documents the visual ephemera of the underground Swiss rock music scene. Since its use in 2016 the typeface was reworked and the Monospace style used in the book is now officially available for the first time.

RT Rondelle itself is not explicitly designed as a signage typeface but is inspired by the genre's display qualities. Names of metro stations, highway signage or airport directions are compactly spaced with a high x-height and distinctive letterforms just like wordmarks. RT Rondelle uses these pronciples as a basis for its personality.

Currently I'm checking the last rounds of kerning which should be done soon. Simultaneously I'm finalizing the documentation coming with the release so you can read all about the journey of this typeface.
