Caught this little buzzer with his tongue right in the middle of a teeny weeny bell-shaped cookie jar, absolutely covered in pollen crumbs like he’d been caught red handed over snacking in the staff room.

The bees are back baby 🐝

Let’s kick off the season of bees with me ol' mate Barney here. He's discovered an exciting new flower, hovering nearby pretending he knows exactly where he's going. Like all of us, he’s winging it.

You can see in his little noggin he’s planning a landing. The cogs are turning, which stamen first? Can I carry that much back to the hive? 3 minus 2, carry the 7…

One of the projects I've been particularly proud of lately is the newly refreshed logo for Ōpiki School.

The brief wasn't about throwing everything out and starting again. We wanted to keep the bones of their existing logo, modernise it and create something bright, playful and full of personality while still respecting the school's rural history and connection to it’s surroundings.

It’s a little more confident and a little more playful. The project isn’t quite finished but I have loved seeing this out in the wild.

My creative craving this month was for an infographic map of some kind. There is something about a map that makes you want to explore, even when you're sitting at your desk. So, it got me thinking about sharing a few maps I’ve created over the years.
