Back in the 60s, the Cambridge Audio P40 was the first ever amplifier to use a toroidal transformer.

We've learned a lot since then, but you'll still find them across our amplifiers, from AXA35 all the way to EXA100.

Delivering power the moment the music asks for it.

Another standout review for Evo 300. Hi-Fi News gives it an Outstanding Product award, alongside a sound quality score of 89%.

Our engineers spent months listening, tuning and refining to get it right. Reviews like this tell us it was worth it.

L/R X has been named Best Wireless Bookshelf Loudspeakers 2026-2027 at the EISA Awards.

EISA is one of the most respected awards in audio, judged by an expert jury drawn from hi-fi and AV publications across Europe and beyond.

As our first ever range of active stereo speakers, that means a lot to us. We set out to put a complete hi-fi system into two cabinets without compromising on the scale, detail and presence that make separates worth owning.

It took a huge team effort, with our acoustics, electronics, industrial design and software teams working tirelessly to get it all right. This award belongs to them.

Thank you to everyone who has listened to L/R X, written about them and enjoyed them since launch.

There's something about walnut. Once you fall in love, it's hard to go back.

Having lived in our Evo range for years, walnut now finds its way into our L/R active speakers. Real wood veneer that brings warmth and depth without shouting.
