We're pleased to announce the launch of our 2024 Regional School Meals Report!

With responses from more than 200,000 parents across England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. Supported by LACA - The School Food People, ASSIST FM , and Education Authority (Northern Ireland), this research is a MUST-read for school caterers and is designed to help schools make informed decisions about their catering operations.

Key insights include: 👇

✅ At least 49% of pupils in every region choose school meal provision daily
✅ 58% of parents in England have complete confidence in how their school manages allergies
✅ Parents in Wales with older children pay the most - with 66% spending over £2.80 per meal
✅ In Scotland, 45% of parents pre-order their child's school meals, which has increased from 32% since 2023
✅ For the first time, the report features a dedicated section for Northern Ireland, with responses from over 4,000 parents
