The direction the government wishes to go in looks to encourage innovation, creativity and the economy further. The proper use of data is seemingly a top priority for the UK Government post-Brexit since all the same laws do not bind us we were pre-Brexit. Since cookies ask permission to store a users personal information, it doesn’t take much to anticipate how this data could be misused; mainly when cookies can be applied to any site, it would be extremely easy for those with hostile intentions to misuse data.
