Private View: 6-9pm Wednesday 21st June

Earthwise, our curatorial concept-word, invites a place of meetings and relations, without a final meaning, limit or system – we are interested in the and and not the therefore... This focus is driven by the gathering forces of ecological, social and psychological crises that pose an inescapable reality for artists today. The term ‘Earthwise’ is inspired by Donna Haraway and her incitement to ‘earthwide’ situated and relational forms of knowledge. We have mutated the word in order to orient away from the vertical towards the horizontal, away from the separated stance of the eye/mind towards the uncertain discoveries of planetary processes and corporeal practices.

It was a pleasure for me to provide the academic support on the relict, the dramaturgical, and the genealogical of Tibetan Vajra Dance. The Vajra elegy deforms into a prayer that returns to earthly offerings and gestures toward traces.

Deeply grateful for that curated and hosted our show. Huge thanks to for all the patient back and forth and for all the inquiries. And, well, I couldn’t done it without the help from our friends! This has also been such a blessing for the friends that showed up and new friends made alongside.

Our show was amazing, not that of a simple display but of something else, something that stems from within, reciprocating with amiability and generosity. It’s of the friends that made along the way, and somehow I suppose, we’d keep walking.
