A very 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 thing happened recently.

𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸.

And I learned that lesson this week.

A few days ago,
I decided to add video testimonials
to my personal branding website.
I thought it would be a great way
to build trust with future clients.



So I reached out to several former clients.

Only three replied.
But that's not what surprised me.

One client from the United States asked,
"What service did you provide for me?"

At first, I thought they were joking.
Because their email infrastructure
developed by me.

I shared our chat history,
screenshots,
and even recordings of our video meetings.
Only then did they remember the project.

That moment taught me something important.

𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺,
𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝗼𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗿𝘂𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸.
𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘀 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲.

Once it's fixed, they move on.
They don't think about the issue anymore.

And sometimes, they don't even remember who solved it.

That's why I've learned an important lesson:
👉 𝗔𝘀𝗸 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗹, 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄,
𝗼𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀.

Don't wait for weeks or months.
While your work may have made a real difference,
human memory fades much faster than we expect.

Solve the problem.
Deliver great service.
Then ask while the value is still fresh in your client's mind.

A few days ago I went to a bank to upgrade something there,
after finishing my work, I asked theme to review.

One senior person complained,
"It doesn't work like before!!"

So I checked everything and found the problem,
the peripheral device
she selected wasn't even
available at that branch.

I started explaining the issue--
once...
twice...
three times...
four times...
five times!! 😂

Everyone else understood in less than a minute.

She was busy watching

--full concentration on scrolling,
zero concentration on my explanation. 📱🤣

After my 5th explanation, she finally looked up and said--

without the customer understanding anything. 🤣
