With Windows 10 support due to end on the 14th October 2025 here are a few options to consider, if you’re not sure what to do:

1) If you have a machine that is suitable for a free Windows 11 upgrade then that option is worth taking up.

2) Or, if your machine is not suitable for an upgrade and you wish to keep using Windows 10 then the Extended Security Updates (ESU) program should be considered. There is a fee for this.

3) Or, depending on your software needs you could switch your machine over to a Linux-based system.

4) And finally, buy a new Windows 11 machine.

The point is, do not feel forced into replacing your existing Windows 10 machine.
