Pama Golden Knights Academy - PGKA
Your life belongs to you, take it back.
PGKA’s new program, Rise Up does just that. Whether it is on or off the floor/ice, PGKA’s main goal is to help others. PGKA Staff is entirely compose of athletes and former athletes. As a result, we saw firsthand many of the difficulties people face daily in sports. Unfortunately, this includes substance use and abuse and its related behaviors, including addictions.
We know that the excessive consumption of alcohol and other drugs often is present in the hockey world. In addition, many athletes suffer from mental illness such as anxiety, depression and insecurity. These feelings are often derived from the use of these substances or even from the thought of what life will look like after the end of their career.
With this new PGKA program, one will have access to:
• important information to combat addictions,
• reports of athletes and relatives via podcast,
• participate in our chat groups on Whatsapp and Zoom.
We are a family owned and operated business and family takes care of each other!
