During our discovery process, several key priorities quickly became clear:

We’re proud to announce that East Specialist Inclusive Learning Centre (East SILC) chose Fusion Unified Ltd for their new IP telephony solution – Webex for Gamma.

East SILC is an incredible school community and one of the largest providers of specialist educational support in the North of England. Their mission to deliver “exceptional education for exceptional lives” reflects a deep commitment to ensuring every child and young person receives the support they need to unlock their potential.

When East SILC approached us, their Wishlist was clear:

✅ A fully integrated solution with call recording for compliance and training
✅ A management portal for their Network Manager, Matthew Wilton to make changes and access calls from cradle to grave
✅ A dedicated line for every extension to ensure staff can respond quickly in any situation
✅ Call queues and analytics – unusual for schools, but vital for a specialist inclusive learning centre
✅ An integrated app for PC, laptop, and mobile to keep key personnel connected across multiple sites
✅ And most importantly, AI transcription for every call, saving valuable time and improving efficiency

Having successfully moved their business mobiles to Fusion Unified Ltd in 2024 and mid 2025, East SILC trusted us again to deliver.

In early December 2025, they asked if we could proceed with the new for solution installation over the Christmas break. Our team configured and installed the 75 extension system with new 9800 series handsets across four learning centres in Leeds on December 22nd and 23rd, and scheduled the porting to complete in time for their reopening 5th January 2026.

At 8 AM on the 5th January 2026, the ports concluded as planned – East SILC now has their new Webex for Gamma solution fully operational.
