More books, less bombs.
In honour of World Book Day, and while the whole world is transfixed on the bombs falling right now, we must celebrate, elevate & protect books & encourage reading more than ever!
The more we read, the more we learn. The broader and deeper our consciousness & empathy becomes. Our minds, imaginations & ability to think for ourselves become sharper.
As Tyrion Lannister said: "A mind needs books like a sword needs a whetstone." ⚔️💪🏻
This is why books are precious. And dangerous. And keep getting banned.
But remember, they don't have to burn books - they just have to stop you reading them.
So this month, why not challenge yourself?
Pick up a book you've never read. That one you've been meaning to read but just haven't got round to it. Make a little time every day for a couple of pages.
So for all these reasons and more, here's a poster. More books, less bombs.
