Here is the Border TV Tweed desk around 1979 just a few years after I and then Head of Sound, Phil Middlemore, went to Kelso to carry out acceptance tests at the factory. We then had the task of pre-wiring for it so the old EMI desk could removed and the Tweed put into use over a weekend while the studio was dark.

Beginning of a NEW Chapter in the life of the 1976 Border TV 22x4x2 Production Mixing Desk

Yes….here’s a couple of photographs of a long awaited New Start for this Thomas Troelsen’s Delta Labs Mixer….with Jonas Ritter at the helm of this new Barge Installation in Copenhagen.

Something simple yet never mentioned (Tweed Module Serial Numbers - usually to be found on metalwork back panels) and references the type(ie this example C for Channel EQ) and numbering gives indication of date and sequence built and fitted into mixer

Up F O R S A LE Tweed P104. Small 10 channel
First built 1976 as an Italian order.
(see post ……way..way below…. dated 13Jan 2022 when it first came to light) and was being refurbed by Giuseppe Negro….there was a Utube video link … (although it was in Italian)
