Job Title: Electronics Assembler / Wire Person
Location: Ipswich (near to the College and University)
Salary: Depending on experience
Closing Date: 16 July 2021

Kays Electronics require a full time / part time Electronics Assembler / Wire Person.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• PCB assembly
• PCB test & calibration
• Soldering
• Wiring
• Crimping
• Final product assembly
• Check products for quality
• Comply with Health and Safety procedures within the production area
• Maintain a clean production environment
• Maintain equipment and work area in a careful and orderly manner
• Follow and adhere to work instructions and procedures

Skills and Attributes:
• Effective communication skills
• Experience in the assembly of electronics & wiring is preferred, although not essential as full training will be provided with the possibility of progressing to a modern apprenticeship
• Teamwork and positive interpersonal skills
• An eye for detail, quality focused and results oriented

Working hours are Monday to Friday based on a 37½ hour week, or part time hours to be agreed.
