*How many Sikhs has this terrorist attacked?*

This is the question Toronto Police are asking about 32-year-old Laksh*tha Arakmullage of Toronto (Ontario, Canada), as he faces charges for two separate anti-Sikh attacks on 29th August, including an unprovoked stabbing.

Police have released his image believing other Sikhs may come forward about also being targeted by the violent anti-Sikh fanatic.

Anyone with info is asked to contact police on 416-808-3505.

Whilst some speculate Arakmullage is motivated by Hindutva (Hindu extremist) ideology, The Sikh Press Association is aware of accusations Arakmullage is part of a known bigoted Sinhalese Buddhist network with anti-Sikh sentiments, fueled by Canadian far-right ideology. However, for now his motivation remains unclear as police investigations continue.

Sikh groups are protesting the UK tour of Mohan Bhagwat, the head of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), a notorious Hindu extremist group linked to countless anti-Sikh activities. In recent years this includes distortion of Sikh religious literature and accusations of sending goons to violently disrupt Sikh-led protests against India's government.

A daily protest has been taking place outside London's Indian embassy since 2nd September when Bhagwat arrived, after touring the USA and Canada over the last few weeks.

Whilst some Sikh groups (Shepherd's Bush Gurdwara Khalsa Jatha British Isles pictured) welcomed Bhagwat, across the globe other Sikh groups believe his tour reflects increasing Hindutva (Hindu extremist) transnational repression.

The RSS is an unofficial paramilitary branch of India's nationalist government regime. India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a lifelong RSS affiliate, who has led a murderous anti-Sikh agenda, which is even targeting diaspora Sikh activists.

Team Khalistan's first away game!

This Saturday the Khalistan Football Association take the first ever officially sanctioned Sikh national team to France to play Rouet Provence, following up on a 6-0 debut win last month, as their journey to Confederation of Independent Football Associations World Cup continues.

A team of British Sikh footballers will travel to Sausset Le Pins for the match between the de facto national football teams, signifying the progress of Sikhs in sport. The game will be available to watch via Twitch (details in attached poster).

The possible parole of Bhai Jagtar Singh Hawara has been central to weeks of tension and debate (including police violence towards protestors) in Punjab, around India's ongoing arbitrary imprisonment of Sikh political prisoners.

The de facto leader of the Sikh quam (nation) is eligible but has rejected custody parole, having now served 31-years for the assassination of Punjab Chief Minister Beant Singh, a move celebrated by Sikhs as resistance against India's genocide. Hawara is such a celebrated figure he was named the Jathedar of the Akal Takht (highest seat of Sikh authority) by Sikh groups in 2015, even though he was imprisoned.

Hawara is the most high profile of over a dozen Sikh political prisoners serving undue time in India, regarding support for Khalistan (free Sikh homeland) and activist resistance groups. Recent favourable treatment of non-Sikh high profile prisoners -such as convicted ra**st "Guru" Ram Rahim- prompted Punjab protests through August, including a mass "Punjab bandh" strike on August 21st and marches targeted with police violence.

Hawara's quest for parole continues, with Sikh groups leading calls for the Sikh leader to be released to see his elderly mother who is of declining health.

*WORLD CUP TO COME TO WALSALL*

The UK based Khalistan (free Sikh homeland) Football Association will host the Confederation of Independent Football Associations
women's world cup in Walsall (Midlands) next year. CONIFA is the official football federation for de-facto nations, hosting global tournaments regularly.

The 2027 collaboration between Khalistan FA and CONIFA is another indication of the strides forward of the Sikh football initiative, reflecting wider progress of Sikhs in sport. Women from across the globe will play in the week-long tournament.

*WANTED FOR TORONTO ANTI-SIKH STABBING*

Police are seeking public assistance to locate a man regarding an anti-Sikh attack on 29th August, in the Queens Quay West and Lower Spadina Avenue area of Toronto (Ontario, Canada). The victim was stabbed in the leg.

The incident is one of several in recent times across Canada reported as anti-Sikh hate, including fatal violence. The suspect is described as 5'6 with black hair, who carried out the attack "unprovoked" and before making "anti-Sikh utterances". The incident is being investigated by the Hate Crimes Unit.

A Slough (Berkshire) man says UK authorities showed anti-Sikh bigotry "from start to finish", after going to police about a violent racist attack by his neighbour. Gurdave Rehsi has complained to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC)

In January 2024 Gurdave (36) and his father Tavinder (64) confronted Peter Hall (no age given) about racism towards the family. Things turned violent, resulting in Hall using a baseball bat to inflict visible injuries on Gurdave. Yet, immediate police reaction seemed to only focus on assault allegations against the Sikh father-and-son, something reflected in media coverage at the time.

Gurdave, who ended up on police tag for allegations from the incident which were all later dismissed, says the case was mishandled by police dismissive of the racist attack. Even in court proceedings, his father was rudely called "Mr Turban".

"Everyone should come and have langar with love"

A new Sikh communal kitchen feed for the public is tackling issues in East London (UK), whilst simultaneously providing seva (selfless service) opportunities for the less abled.

Midland Langar Seva Society are running the service every Wednesday from 7pm at Ilford Retail Park. It is one of several the Sikh charity run across the UK, which has created a network of sevadaars which range from young children to the elderly, of all backgrounds and statuses.
