**Beware of Fake iPhone Parts – Here’s What I Discovered Today!**
Hi everyone,
I had an unexpected experience today while working on an iPhone repair, and I wanted to share it with you. I was helping a customer recover their data by transferring the CPU and paired components (NAND, Logic EEPROM, and NFC) from their iPhone X to a working logic board. As I prepared by removing these components from the donor board, I discovered something surprising — both replacement logic boards that I had for swap turned out to be fake!
Here’s what happened:
- Both boards looked genuine from the outside, but when I started testing, I noticed a major issue with the power supply.
- After attempting to fix the problem with my tools and getting no results, I decided to take a closer look by separating the double-stacked logic boards and comparing them to the iPhone X schematic.
- To my surprise, these boards weren’t real iPhone X logic boards at all, even though they looked just like the originals!
This experience highlights how important it is to have your phone repaired by someone you trust. Fake parts can cause serious problems for your phone and may lead to more damage in the long run.
