We have just been informed by our NYC datacenter upstream that they will be performing maintenance on a line card between 07:00 and 10:00 EST tomorrow (21st April). During the work, you may experience packet loss to specific networks or switches that have uplinks landing at this line card. The router will automatically re-route to redundant uplinks / line cards, but this process may take a minute or two to fully complete.

Clients with services in the UK will be unaffected.

There appears to be a network issue in the NYC datacenter that we use and this is impacting customers in certain parts of North America. We have been informed that the datacenter are aware of the issue and are working on it. During this time you may see sporadic packet loss to servers based in NYC.

Cloudflare is currently in the midst of a global outage which is causing access issues to the D9 Hosting website and client area.

Any customers who host with us and have services proxied via Cloudflare will also be seeing issues.

UPDATE: We have just been informed that the maintenance email was sent in error by our datacenter and none of our servers are impacted. Apologies for the mix up!

We have been informed by our datacenter in NYC that there is maintenance work scheduled to take place at midday today (20th Oct) and that servers will be unavailable for around 1 hour whilst this takes place.

The "Joshua" server will be taken down at 2am EST on Thursday 31st July to investigate an overheating CPU issue. Website...

[Scheduled] Maintenance - NY1 Router Software Upgrade

Our upstream network provider will be performing firmware software upgrades on the core router in the NYC datacentre that we use on the 11th June between 00:00 and 02:00 EST.

The router will be rebooted multiple times as part of the software upgrades which could cause around 15 mins of network inaccessibility at a time.

This will impact any customers with a hosting service in NYC, customers with services in a different location will not be impacted.
