Hello I’m Georgina, I’m a graphic designer and illustrator. I work from home in my conservatory. The light in there is fantastic. It can get a little hot in the summer and requires a few extra layers in the winter but I shouldn’t grumble. I have a lovely view of my hawthorn tree and ideas often strike when I’m day dreaming or watching the birds fight over the peanuts. I have a degree in Media and
Communications from Wolverhampton University and I completed a Foundation Course in Graphic Design at Bedford College. I was an in-house graphic designer for the RSPB for many years and I continue to work closely with them now as a freelance designer. In addition to corporate graphic design I also sell my illustrations as prints. I have two seemingly contrasting styles, but both started from me simply creating things that I liked, things I wanted on my wall at home. Over time other people have seen them, liked them, bought them and things have gone on from there. I am married and have two beautiful children. Family time is the best. I rely on yoga to keep me grounded and balanced. I volunteer weekly at my local hospice which is a huge privilege and offers me a chance to be part of the wider community. I love chocolate cake, spaghetti bolognese, Nashville and I drink tea by the bucket load. And red shoes…I love red shoes.
