🎶 START YOUR DAY THE SING YONDER WAY 🎶
The Sing Yonder Workshop is led by none other than Karl Sinfield – writer, designer, musician and the creator of the Sing Yonder project.
Karl has set himself the wonderfully ambitious task of working through the entire Roud Folk Song Index, creating beautifully designed books that tell the story behind each song alongside simple arrangements that make traditional music accessible to singers and musicians of every ability.
At Sing Yonder Festival, Karl invites you to become part of that story.
On Saturday and Sunday he'll gather everyone together in the Sunday School Courtyard to create a festival "scratch band"—bringing singers and instrumentalists together in just a few verses to experience the joy of making traditional music as a community. Whether you know hundreds of folk songs or none at all, you'll be welcomed in.
It's the perfect way to get you in the mood for everything else Sing Yonder has to offer.
