With having some minor surgery on my hand this week I've made an executive decision to break up today. Using design software with one hand isn't easy. I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I will be back online Friday 2nd January.

Hubby’s gone to Blues away today and couldn’t resist sending me a photo of these scarves. I create the artwork for a local company who produce and supply matchday scarves across the UK and some European games. Nice to see the real thing rather than flat artwork on a screen.

As a designer you have to take the rough with the smooth, put your big girl pants on and just 'get over it'! I am soooo squeamish with anything to do with the human body and injury, so when I was briefed on doing some posters for a safe eyes campaign I was not looking forward to the image search.

Luckily, in one hit I got the design right with no amends required and the posters have gone straight to print - TFFT!
