Most of the impact of a website comes from a small part of the design. Get the homepage headline right, make the contact button easy to find, and load the page quickly, and you have covered most of what actually matters. Chasing every small detail before those big three is wasted effort. Fix the twenty per cent that carries eighty per cent of the weight first.

I wear an Apple Watch I can't put away, and that's why it works. Pen & paper never stuck: too many steps between an idea and capturing it. The watch removes the steps. No willpower needed, just less friction.

Every week I try and spend time studying towards becoming a better designer - this week, I sat in on a class at the IxDF about how to design for neurodiversity. A great class! The short of it is that (collectively) we are just scratching the surface as designers, so much work needs to still be done.
