The end of the school holidays and a fresh new term for our children as well as for us!

Networking meetings have actually continued through the summer for me, but I’m really looking forward to getting back into the weekly routine and having some face-to-face meetings again.

Sue Thomas is a wellbeing coach helping women to break their addiction to sugar.
Sue originally came to Blumango Creative when she needed a new logo for her business, but after a few years she was back, having realised it was also time to refresh her website.

As with many business owners I work with, Sue had created her own website at the start when she was setting up and establishing herself.

She came to me when she knew she needed her website to be doing more for her! I worked with her to create a website that is very much on brand, with professional photography by Jenny Stewart and copy by Rachel Barker.

The new website is easy for visitors to navigate and has a clear structure with the features Sue needed to enable visitors to book easily onto her range of health programmes.

I’ve loved working with Liz Jones Consulting to help her with a new logo for her business!

This wasn’t just about a new logo, though: this was about helping create a new look for her website and marketing.

For me, it isn’t about creating an icon in isolation, but about giving you a logo that reflects your business identity, your values, what you mean to your clients.

The fresh new motif of interconnecting threads in a set of strong colourways I created for Liz Jones Consulting is used throughout her marketing materials. Take a look at her website and you will see the colours being repeated across the different graphics to give a consistent and unified look to all the pages.

It’s exactly a month now till I tackle the Macmillan Wye Valley Mighty Hike. Twenty-six miles of hilly terrain – eek!

I’ve done some big walks before, but this one is coming up quickly and I need to be ready!

Who’s done a similar challenge and can share any advice on preparation over the last weeks before the big event?

Any tips on how to build up my stamina while not overdoing the training?!

Who’s managed to get to the coast over the last few weeks?

I’ve not long been back from a trip to North Devon, and I’m still feeling all the positivity that the English coast inspires in me.

Invigorating, reenergising, calming, revitalising, refreshing - I’m full of all those positive words for how being by the coast with family and friends has boosted me.
