As it's Friday...

Anyone got any funny stories about AI getting it wrong?

I find it can sometimes sit there completely poker-faced, being the fount of all knowledge, talking complete rubbish!

Mine in particular likes to make a completely incorrect statement so it can then follow up with the argument it wants to make.

🧐 Today it made the point 'You will never need to use a backup'.
before it started on about why you should take a backup. 🧐

While carrying out my Summer Website Reviews, I've noticed something I hadn't really thought about before.

When I click Services ▼, my attention immediately goes to the list that appears. I'm deciding where to go next.

That made me wonder...

If clicking Services has also opened another page in the background, have I even noticed?

I have quite strong feelings about which approach I prefer, but before I tell you, I'm genuinely interested to know what other people expect.

❤️ A - Services should simply open the list.

👍 B - Services should open an overview page where I can browse all the services, with the dropdown acting as a shortcut.

😮 C - Services should open a page with information I'm expected to read, even though the dropdown is inviting me to choose somewhere else.
