I’ve noticed that there are a lot of new followers so I thought I’d reintroduce myself ✨🌸
I’m Bhavani Balasubramanyam (She/They) and I am a visual storyteller and facilitator based in Glasgow and Singapore. My creative practice is a means of enabling the creation of authentic, evocative stories. Through comics/illustration, I explore themes of south Asian identity, mental health and the trickle down effects of colonial history on today’s world. I also draw my cat Kevin a lot 😅✨
I meld community engagement with storytelling via my workshop facilitation practice primarily in improv. Happy member of in Glasgow 🐓

I am also the co-founder and artistic director of .studio , a publishing experiment rooted in play, started with a mutual love of the handmade and the imperfect with .
