When a logo tells a story 🤎

This logo, designed for ethical & artisanal chocolate brand , shines a light on the story behind their delicious product.

I was most fascinated to find out how obscure the chocolate making process is to lots of people, me included, to the point that I had no idea of what a cocoa plant actually looked like!

Here’s a sneak peek of the packaging - I had quite some fun last night arranging a mini photoshoot at home to capture it.

After three great years, it’s time for me to move away from my personal brand.

Saying goodbye to Alice Bellini Creative has been a difficult choice, but as the studio and the team grow, I feel like my name doesn’t serve our purpose anymore.

Over the next few days my profile and website will get a makeover, to come back as Fern Studio!

At Fern we’ll be doing what we’ve always done: brand identity.

But we’ll also be doing much more. We’ll soon start offering an in-house brand strategy service and, most exciting, we are working on building a network of trusted independent creatives, marketers, and strategists that will allow us to offer a much wider range of services in the coming months.

Keep an eye out for updates over the next week!

Pukeko bag!

I made this design last year during my time in New Zealand... I was so amused by these clumsy birds and their oversized feet that make them look hilarious when they run, that I ended up obsessing over Pukeko designs for the following month.

Maybe next time I go I’ll choose a more graciosos bird 😂

What if there was the perfect coffee to get rid of it? I would totally buy it.
Something strong to get maximum energy in the morning + a lighter version for a caffeine top up later in the day. Enough to keep those eyes open (it’s only 6pm!), not enough to keep them open all night. Unless that’s what you want, of course.

Well, yesterday we had a rainy day in Glasgow so I designed a brand and packaging concept for two coffee blends that do just that.

This map features lots of Glaswegian small businesses that offer eco-friendly options, such as refillable and reusable packaging, plastic-feee options, upcycling initiatives and much more. It will soon be available online and will be printed and distributed for free around the city 😍
