Sometimes you just need to exercise your middle finger up!

Or get your buddy to do it for you.

This cheeky wee lamp has been causing plenty laughs already! And the best bit? It doesn’t need to be an croc… these lamps can be made with pretty much any animal you can think of.

Highland coo with attitude?
Dog holding the bulb?
Sassy meerkat?
Penguin? Dinosaur?

I’m sure I can make them all work!

If it can stand there looking mildly judgemental, it can probably become a lamp or even just a statement statue!

Man’s best friend… the one who really lights up your life

Delighted with how this wee guy turned out!

My first proper commission like this and, honestly, I sat staring at the design for weeks trying to work out how on earth to make it work.

There were definitely a few failed ideas, learning curves and “well that didn’t go to plan” moments along the way… but we got there in the end!

And of course… he just had to become a lamp.

Initially asked as I was setting off learning about 3D so the thought scared me a little!

Same cutie from the bookends, but when sat in front of him on the screen, you’ll never guess what I envisaged he could be?!?!?

Here is his b***y 8 hours into an 11 hour print and his top half will take approx 13 hours to complete.

The nerves are real hoping he turns out as gorgeous as he looks!

Told you, I do love lamps and lights!

One for our wee Love Shack here, just below ol’ Lofty here!

There’s just something about lighting that changes a space completely. A cosy glow, a fun sign, a custom lamp… suddenly a corner becomes a vibe.

As said, great for any space, whether it’s a business, bar, garden room, games room or just a wee cosy corner that needs brought to life!

From subtle and classy to full-on “who gave her access to LEDs?” levels of brightness, there’s endless options to create something unique.

Sadly the glasses did not survive the machine, but I’m currently acting as a part-time optician and making a new set of specs to add on!

Looking at him with the glasses though, I decided he looked far too intellectual not to enjoy a good book…

So doggo bookends it is!

Great adventures, great food, good drinks and shared with the best people. Hard to beat that combination really! Those that know us know that sums us up! Adventures, food and the odd glass of bubbles!

Talking of great food… here’s a wee sign I made in colour.

Lightboxes can be made in almost any shape, style or colour combo. Perfect for the man cave, home bar, campervan, BBQ hut or garden room!

Still on a practical level, getting all “adulty” today!

This is my work in progress for my Lofty tools setup!

I’ve got IKEA Skådis panels up, made some smaller custom ones too, and now I’m slowly working my way through the tools and printing hangers for all my bits and pieces.

Getting closer to that magical stage of life where I might actually know where everything is instead of conducting archaeological digs across the workshop everytime i need something!

At first glance it just looks like a simple design, but once the sun hits it, the shadow reveals the message beneath. As the sun moves through the day, the shadow changes too!

A bit of wall art with a hidden surprise built in.

Of course, being Lochaber, you may need patience between reveals…

I will be in factory until 11 today for collection of ordered uniforms.

Everyone was contacted last week re their order and some are still to respond or collect despite offering pick up in caol.

Even if you don’t need or can’t make it, please have the manners to let me know in advance. Last night I spent the night in waiting for people to collect and had no shows. Only one of these people had the manners to message to say they could not make it.

My time could have been better spent continuing to clear business so I have more time with Davy.
