I’m 21. What do I know about running a business? 👀

That’s the thought that creeps in when I’m the youngest person in the room.

Behind the posts, the invoices and the “exciting things coming soon”, there’s a person trying to keep everything moving.

This World Mental Health Day, we want to remind you that your worth isn’t measured by your bookings, your income or how much you ticked off today.

You’re allowed to rest with an unfinished to-do list. You’re allowed to set boundaries. And you’re allowed to ask for support before everything feels too much. 🌿

As a small business ourselves, these are reminders we need too.

Wait… you actually know about my business? 🥹🤍

When you run a small business, someone asking how it’s going means more than they probably realise. Remembering what we do, asking about a project or saying “I saw your post!” can honestly make our day.

There’s so much happening behind the scenes — late nights, second guessing ourselves, figuring things out as we go and getting ridiculously excited over every little win 😂

Supporting a small business doesn’t always mean buying something. It can be sharing a post, recommending us to a friend, leaving a lovely comment or simply checking in and showing an interest.

And it goes both ways. There’s room for all of us to do well, and cheering each other on makes the whole journey feel a little less daunting 🤍
