I absolutely love the artwork for the label for this game (the box is beautiful as well, which I do have a copy of too) as well as the upgraded art style for the game, better sound effects etc.

The original Double Dragon was fantastic, but the follow up is even better, if you haven't played this game, then you really, really, REALLY should.

Growing up with Pokémon, I never had the same exposure as most of my friends as I didn't own a Game Boy growing up, instead I had the Game Gear. Not that that was a bad thing, as I loved my Game Gear.

However, I did love the cartoon in the morning before school, as well as watching recordings after finishing my homework.

I used to do a lot of doodles as a kid, creating my own pocket monsters, did anyone else do this? 🤭 If so, what were they like?

So, if you've been following me for the past few weeks or longer (thank you btw 😉) you'll have seen that I recently picked up a Sega Master System model 1 and model 2 - as well as a stack of games.
•
This post is to celebrate Sonic and share the original trilogy of games in the series, as number 3 on the Sega Mega Drive is technically not the third game - Sonic The Hedgehog: Chaos is technically the third game - who knew?
•
All three of the these games have given me a flashback to my 5 to 10 year old self happily playing away on the 8-bit gem of a system. Good games, good memories, good times... Which I have been happily reliving when I've had a minute to play.

Don't have any doubt about it, the Sega Master System is a great system - and we wouldn't have had Sonic if it wasn't for this system - also the failing popularity of Alex Kidd definitely helped 😳 Sorry Alex 🤭
