A Fab Lab (fabrication laboratory) is a fully kitted fabrication workshop which gives everyone in the community from small children through to entrepreneurs and businesses, the capability to turn their ideas and concepts into reality. The aim is to give people back the satisfaction that comes from making things; we call it “The Power of Making“. Fab Labs promote entrepreneurial spirit, by giving local business the space, equipment and help to rapidly turn ideas into working prototypes.
