Engine Tea Room is seeking a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Part-Time Catering Staff member to join our team. The successful candidate will help deliver excellent customer service while supporting the day-to-day operation of the tea room.
Key Responsibilities:
* Welcoming customers and providing a high standard of service.
* Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks, light meals, and snacks.
* Taking customer orders and processing payments.
* Assisting with food preparation and presentation.
* Clearing and cleaning tables and maintaining a tidy dining area.
* Following food hygiene, health, and safety procedures.
* Restocking supplies and assisting with opening and closing duties.
* Working effectively as part of a team in a busy environment.
Requirements:
* Friendly and professional manner.
* Good communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends if required.
* Previous catering, hospitality, or customer service experience is desirable but not essential.
