It's been so fun working on my first ever illustration project with Fantasy POP! and exploring the lore. Here are all 8 of my original characters!

I hope you've enjoyed them! What kind of characters and lore do you want to see next and what character that's part of this series would you want to learn more about? And what's been your favourite character of the series?!

This month, I've been really into the vintage comic pop art-esque style of the 60s. I really liked the glossy commercial pop feel and I wanted to practice getting into illustrating portraits. The nerd that I am and enjoying the fantasy genre, as well as dabbling into DnD here and there, I decided it'd be a great approach to combine the two! In this series I've been working on, I was inspired by the intricate and fantastical storytelling of the genre and translated them into this colourful glossy medium.
It's been super fun considering the lore and backgrounds of each character too. I hope you enjoy them, and keep your eyes peeled for the rest of the series! πŸ™‚

FANTASY POP! (VIII) - The Paladin of Montverra

Check out the final portrait in my Fantasy Pop! series! Hailing from the distant edges of the Five Kingdoms, Verona trained as a Holy Knight of the Twin Forests from a young age. Now, she protects the lands of her people, the Wood elves, from The Splewn, a cult harnessing a dark force corrupting the forest, rivers, wildlife and the valleys nearby.

FANTASY POP! (V) - The Court Mage of the Sands of Sayelka

Kes'aal, a serpent-humanoid Yuan-Ti Pureblood, has been the advisor and court wizard of the human overlords of his former home: The Sands of Sayelka. What used to be an elusive, lavish, and magical kingdom hidden in the red sands of Oruk's Desert, is now a kingdom on the verge of collapse as rebel factions, military forces, and extremist groups have wrestled for the soul of the citadel for the past hundred years.

FANTASY POP! (IV) - The Warrior Princess

Princess Agni is the younger step-sister of my second entry, Sorcerer Prince Anzu. Level-headed where her brother is aloof, and patient and disciplined where Anzu is spontaneous and imaginative, Agni helps leads her father's royal military with sharp wits and strategy to complement her prowess with her katana and agility on the battlefield.
