A client recently asked if I could help set up a tablet on behalf of her brother, who has learning disabilities. He just wanted to look at pictures of cars, but he was struggling with links and using the internet. I simplified the home screen by creating a direct shortcut to an album of car images. Now he can enjoy his tablet with just one simple click, without having to navigate the internet at all. It's a small thing, but it made a real difference :)

That time a Silver Skills lesson went from 1 hour to 5... 📚⏰

This past Saturday, I had what started as a regular Silver Skills session at the Derry Library.

Five hours later, we were politely asked to leave, because closing time had come and gone and we were still sorting through multiple SD cards of photos for a property brochure.

At the end of it all, my client looked at me and said, "You're a whizz kid."
I'm 35, but I'll take it! 😄

Sometimes tech support is just about patience and helping someone get the job done.

Helped a lovely client create her first Facebook account! When I arrived, she was convinced technology was plotting against her. By the time I left, she was seamlessly scrolling and liking on both her iPad AND phone like a true tech multitasker!
